Tré Packard is an award-winning environmental photographer and visionary public art curator who fuses creativity with activism to protect the ocean. His work elevates marine conservation into public consciousness through bold storytelling, turning art into a catalyst for global change.
His expeditions across Asia and some of the world’s most remote regions have exposed illegal fisheries and uncovered the endangered species trade, capturing powerful images that reveal the hidden realities of marine exploitation. These photographs not only document environmental injustice but ignite public urgency to act.
Tré is the founder and Executive Director of PangeaSeed, a nonprofit that merges art and education to defend our oceans. He is also the creator of Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans, the world’s first public art movement dedicated to ocean advocacy. Since 2014, Sea Walls has produced over 550 murals in more than 20 countries, mobilizing 400+ artists to paint messages of hope, resistance, and conservation in communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis.
A lifelong diver and PADI Dive Ambassador, Tré’s profound connection to the underwater world drives his mission: to bring the ocean’s stories to land — through walls, lenses, and voices that cannot be ignored.
